No. 4 Florida State prepares for biggest test of season

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ? It?s one of the most important games in third-year coach Jimbo Fisher?s career at Florida State.

The fourth-ranked Seminoles (3-0, 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) have 10th-ranked Clemson at home Saturday in a matchup of the ACC?s only two undefeated teams. The winner will earn the inside track on winning the ACC?s Atlantic Division and a spot I the conference?s championship game in December.

Clemson (3-0, 0-0) won last year?s game 35-30 and went on to win the ACC and a BCS bowl berth.

Fisher has a 22-8 record in his third season as Bobby Bowden?s successor at Florida State and is a perfect 4-0 against intrastate rivals Miami and Florida, but still in search of an ACC championship. A win Saturday would be a big step in that direction.
